GFA Pays Visit to Families And Injured Offinso Tragic Accident Victims.

Following the tragic accident on Saturday, September 19th, 2020, which involved about 34 colts footballers of Africa Vision Soccer Academy in Kumasi and claimed the lives of 8 colts footballers after the minibus they were travelling on steeped deeply into the Offinso river, Officials of the football governing body in the country, GFA, have visited families of the victims afe the injured players and officials.

Officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), led by Executive Council (ExCo) Member, Fredrick Acheampong (Fred Achee) and others including Ashanti Regional Football Association Chairman, Mr. Osei Tutu Agyemang (Chairman Kotoro), members of the Offinso District Football Association, Officials of Africa Vision Soccer Academy, members of the Juvenile Football Association paid the visit.

The GFA delegation visited all the injured players of Africa Vision Soccer Academy receiving treatment at their various hospitals as well as their team manager and coach. The GFA officials also offered their sympathy to the families of the 8 footballers whose lives were claimed as a result of the tragic accident.
