Shatta Wale has advised the Ghana Creative Arts Industry to learn the sense of loving each other from their Nigerian counterparts.
The multiple award-winning and dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr popularly known as Shatta Wale took to his Twitter account to give this advice to his colleagues in the Ghana Creative Arts Industry as sighted by MyFrichy.com
This came after Ugandan Police arrested Nigerian artistes, Stanley Omah Didia ‘Omah Lay’ and Temilade Openiyi ‘Tems’, together with the event organizer and others for holding an unauthorized concert on Saturday night, December 12, 2020 in the capital, Kampala. All are accused of “doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of coronavirus”, Ugandan police said on Facebook.
This unfortunate happening has caused many Nigerians celebrities to rally behind the aforementioned compatriots and colleagues on social media.
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale took to his official Twitter account @shattawalegh to rally his support as well. He tweeted that “if it was him that was arrested some people in the Ghana music industry will try their possible best for the Ugandan police to put him to jail for 6 years”, as he further advised his colleagues to learn the sense of loving each other from their Nigerian counterparts.
