NEWS IN: Both 2018 & 2019 Backlogs Can Also Apply For 2021 GES Recruitment– APPLY NOW

The management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has finally opened the GES recruitment portal requesting for all qualified trained teachers who completed colleges of education to apply for the 2021 GES recruitment.

According to the financial clearance granted by the Finance Ministry, only sixteen thousand, eight hundred and fifty (16, 850) trained teachers will be recruited by the Ghana Education Service in this year’s GES postings.

However press statement from the office of the management of GES dated 2nd December, 2020 also revealed that the online application portal is opened for only trained teachers who completed colleges of education in 2020 but upon further checks, consultations and engagement with some officials of GES, it was confirmed that all trained teachers that 2018 and 2019 BACKLOGS can also access the recruitment portal and apply.

In regards to the above mentioned all trained teachers who completed colleges of education in 2018 and 2019 but were not posted ( BACKLOGS) can select 2018 or 2018 as their year of completion after selecting the “name of the college completed” in the course of the online application.

This year’s GES recruitment process is fast and smooth since applicants are not required to upload any certificate but only a passport picture.

Interested applicants should access the GES official website (www.gespromotions.gov.gh) to complete an online application form on or
before 31st December, 2021.
