Just In: Teacher Unions finally call off COLA Strike

The Teacher Unions who embarked on COLA Strike on 4th of July, 2022 has finally called off their strike.

The teachers Unions together with the Organized Labour and the Government have come to an agreement of 15% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) to be paid to all public sector workers today, 14th July 2022 at the ministry of health conference room.

The 15% COLA on the base pay takes retrospective effect from July 1, 2022.

The Teachers Unions after the agreement called off their strike and its members to return to work.
