DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships at UDS 2022/2023
Notice is hereby given for applications for admission and DAAD Scholarships for the M.Phil Agricultural Economics Programme for the 2022/2023 Academic Year under the West African Centre for Sustainable Rural Transformation (WAC-SRT) at the University for Development Studies.

DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships Eligibility 2022/2023
To be admitted into the programme, applicants must have:
A first degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from a recognized institution of higher learning or its equivalent in a relevant discipline;
For candidates who wish to apply for DAAD scholarship, a first degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in a relevant field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
Candidates applying for a DAAD Scholarship should include an application letter and explain their motivation for applying for Scholarship.
All applicants must pass a Selection Interview (face to face interview or telephone interview for foreign applicants).
How to Apply for DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships
I. All Ghanaian and foreign applicants for the 2020/21 academic year admissions are required to use the UDS online application portal. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:

Ghanaian applicants are to make a payment of GHS 200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for the UDS E-Voucher at any Zenith Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Prudential Bank, National Investment Bank (NIB), GCB Bank Ltd., Ecobank and Stanbic Bank branches throughout the country and use the E-voucher number to complete the application form on the UDS online portal (admissions.uds.edu.gh)
III. Foreign applicants should contact the Coordinator, West African Centre for Sustainable Rural Transformation, UDS, Nyankpala Campus (mayamga@uds.edu.gh) for assistance to obtain an E-voucher to proceed with their applications.
IV. In completing the online form, students will be required to upload their most recent passport size photographs with white background and relevant certificates.
V. A completed form is not considered until it is SUBMITTED (click on Submit to submit your application)
VI. Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before finally submitting their online applications.
VII. A form, once submitted, can be viewed, but cannot be edited.
VIII. Applicants must print out three copies of the application summary; attach results slips, certificates, and all other relevant documents to each form.
IX. Three reference letters are also required (at least, two of the referees should be familiar with the applicant’s academic work). Candidates must also attach a synopsis of their thesis proposal (maximum five (5) pages) as part of the application.
X. Applicants in Ghana are strongly advised to visit any EMS Office in the Country for assistance towards the return of the application documents (see viii).
XI. Applicants are advised not to post the forms themselves. They should seek the advice and services of Ghana Post EMS. The application documents specified above should be addressed to:
