The management of Ghana Education Service in the Tamale municipality has declared holiday for all schools in Tamale Metro, Sagnarigu Municipal, Savelugu Municipal, Tolon District, Nanton District and Kumbungu District are to be closed.

According to Mr. Alhassan Alidu Jnr., the holiday has become necessary in order to allow teachers to attend the Ghana Teachers Price ceremony because it is very important.

Full statement below; All schools in the Tamale Metro, Sagnarigu Municipal, Savelugu Municipal, Tolon District, Nanton District and Kumbungu District are to be closed.

This will enable all affected teachers to attend this important Ghana Teacher Prize ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at UDS Multipurpose building, Dungu Campus at exactly 9:00am
