JHS Teacher Dies In A Galamsey Pit At Manso Mpatasie

A Junior High School (JHS) Teacher of Mpasatia D/A, Akwasi Anane has died in a galamsey pit.

The incident happened at Manso Mpatasie, near Manso Odaho in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, October 4,2022.

According to the report, the teacher went to the site to work but unfortunately fell into pit around 9pm yesterday.

The assembly member of Manso-Nweneso-Mpatasie electoral area, Hon. Acheampong Duku George has confirmed the news to Filasconews.com today.

The body has been removed from the pit and conveyed to St. Martin’s Hospital at Agroyesum for autopsy and preservation.

The police in the area have began investigation.
