The letter read; “The Ministry of Education has advised this Office that the exigencies that needed your abilities and competence as Director-General of the Ghana Education Service no longer exist.”
Despite being appointed in April 2017, explicit mention was made of Prof. Opoku-secondment Amankwa’s from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in January 2021. (KNUST).

The Vice President, Chief of Staff, the Minister of Education, the Board Chairperson of the Ghana Education Service, the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, and the Registrar of the same institution are all copied in the letter
