CUTT to Picket at GES in Accra

The Coalition of Unemployed Trained Teachers (CUTT) has taken a stand to stage a picket at the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES) in Accra. The purpose of this demonstration is to demand immediate postings for qualified trained teachers who have been left in limbo despite months of seeking recruitment.

These trained teachers have tirelessly advocated for their inclusion in the education system, yet their calls have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. The Director-General of GES had previously made assurances that these teachers would receive communication by April, but unfortunately, no action has been taken.

Numerous letters have been dispatched to both the Ministry of Education and GES, but regrettably, none have been met with a response. Frustrated by the lack of progress and failed promises, CUTT has resolved to take to the streets and protest at the Ministry of Education and GES headquarters on May 14, 2024.

Stay tuned for further updates and more detailed information regarding the protest. For real-time updates, ensure to follow this page for the latest developments.
